“VIPs and out-of-town visitors won’t find penthouse-quality suites with waterfront views like this anywhere else in Philly,” said Eric Althaus, general manager of the casino. The casino’s 22-acre waterfront property connects The Battery via the Delaware Riverwalk by way of Penn Treaty Park. Riversuites is located inside The Battery, the mixed-use lifestyle campus on Beach Street. Plus, you’ll be close to the eight restaurants and bars at Rivers Casino, including Martorano’s Prime, an Italian American steakhouse, FLIPT, a burger and shakes joint, and Sicilian Slice, a pizza place. It’s for vacation-goers, including families and group travel, since those who stay there are right in the middle of the Fishtown neighbourhood. Steps from the casino, the idea is to attract more than just casino-goers. Every suite has a kitchen, walk-in closets, and a convertible sofa bed for more sleeping options. The accommodations come in one-, two-, and three-bedroom options.
The project features 62 upper scale, apartment-style suites. It was ribbon-cutting time this week as Rivers Casino Philadelphia officially opened the new Riversuites at The Battery luxury boutique hotel.
